Learning and Play

 

Ducklings Day Nurseries strives to provide excellent standards of education and invaluable early experiences for its young members. We seek to enhance the quality and consistency of learning in the early years sector. We set high standards for equal opportunities and work hard to nurture and provide carefully planned and assessed play opportunities for the ‘unique’ child.

 

Ducklings Day Nurseries Ltd. is part-owned by an experienced infant teacher who works alongside a dedicated team of qualified practitioners to disseminate good teaching and practice. The teacher has gained the qualification of Early Years Professional Status and uses her expertise about the early years to enhance the planning and resourcing of the entire curriculum within the nurseries. All sessions and activities address the requirements identified by the National Standards and the Early Years Foundation Stage documents.

 

Our two established nurseries have gained OFSTED Outstanding status in all areas. OFSTED have noted that learning and play opportunities in the settings are of a consistently high standard, which in turn results in outstanding progress for the children.
